Solaise AI
A privacy-preserving local voice assistant for iOS & macOS
- Your voice stays on your device
- Nothing is sent until you say yes
- Speech, voice and language models run on‑device
What Solaise does
A voice assistant for your Mac that keeps your life in order and your data on your Mac.
-
“Solaise” ⌥Space
Talk to it
Say “Solaise”, press ⌥ Space or click the menu bar icon. You can talk over it to stop it and carry on without repeating its name, and it learns to recognise your voice.
-
Private by design
Solaise’s language model and speech recognition run on your Mac. Every request that leaves your Mac goes through a privacy check, and searches send only what they need, such as a destination and dates.
-
Send this? Don’t sendSend
Nothing happens without your yes
Before Solaise sends a message, adds an event or sets a reminder, it reads it back and waits for your yes. If it isn’t sure it’s your voice, it asks for Touch ID.
-
Needs fixing Ready to set up Done
Command Centre
One window to set Solaise up and see that everything is working. The Overview shows what needs fixing, what’s ready to set up and what’s done, with short tips for each feature.
-
Tomorrow09:00 · Call the garage
Calendar and reminders
Ask “What does tomorrow look like?”, “Find me an hour this week” or “Remind me at 9 to call the garage.” Solaise reads each one back before adding it.
-
AEAlex ExampleI’m running late
WhatsApp messages
Say “WhatsApp Alex saying I’m running late.” Solaise reads your exact words back and sends only when you say yes.
-
MTWTFSS AE TO PR
Family Hub
See the family’s week across everyone’s calendars, with clashes. In the background, Solaise checks the WhatsApp groups and email you choose for events and things to do, then asks whether you want them added to your calendar or the family calendar, now or later.
-
Trip planner
Solaise finds when you’re free, suggests places by the weather and region you want, and finds flights, hotels with prices and things to do. When you’re happy, it opens the booking pages ready filled in and adds the trip to your calendar; you book and pay yourself.
-
Investments
See your portfolios from your provider’s statement or a read-only Trading 212 connection: today’s value, the biggest movers and company news, with alerts for big moves, plus watchlists. Information only, not financial advice.
-
CSV · PDF Contract ends soon
Bills Optimiser
Add your bills by hand, or let Solaise find your regular payments in a bank statement (CSV or PDF) or a read-only Monzo connection. See your spending by category, and get a reminder before a contract ends or when you want to cancel.
-
Stories
Say “Read me my stories” to hear the latest on the topics you follow, with a short summary of each. Say “more” for the article or “skip” to move on, and it learns what you like.
-
Live 12–1Goal
Live sports
Scores, fixtures and tables for football, rugby, cricket and Formula 1. Follow your teams and Solaise tells you about goals and results.
-
Notes and lists
Dictate a note and find it later by what it’s about, not the exact words. Your grocery list lives in a shared Apple Reminders list, so the family can add to it.
-
AE PRPR
Meeting notes
Say “Take meeting notes” and Solaise transcribes the meeting on your Mac and tells the speakers apart. Then it writes a summary with the actions and who they belong to, saved as a note.
-
News Weather Explain
Everyday questions
Ask for news on a topic, the weather, or a plain explanation, such as “explain how inflation works”. Ask for more detail whenever you want it.
-
